Night Munchies: Bubble World
Every once in awhile, the girls and I would plan a night to go for bubble tea to spend time with each other and talk about love, life and everything in between. Whenever we go for bubble tea, there’s only like 3 places we usually go to, one of them is Bubble World. It’s without a doubt one of the go-to places for sit-down style bubble tea. It’s a small place though, so you may run into long line-ups. I think friday nights are the worse for line-ups, but we got lucky and didn’t need to wait too long.

Every time I go, I have to get their Salty Peppery Chicken Nuggets (鹽穌雞). B and I shared a plate this time because it was after dinner, but we devoured it in no time. Aside from the chicken nuggets, they also have a pretty good selection of taiwanese style snacks, rice and noodles. For their bubble teas, they have a wide range of fruity, milky and specialty flavours as well as different kinds of teas (reds, blacks, greens..etc). I got myself a taro slush with pearls and B got a honey lemon green tea. Their bubble tea is always consistent and I never get disappointed. Some say their pearls are the best, and I have to agree with them.
On a side note, I do have a weird fetish when it comes to slush + pearls though… I like it when the pearls get a little frozen from the coldness of the slush and they get slightly harder but still maintains its chewiness. It’s good like that, trust me. :P
The Final Verdict: Bubble tea is always good here. Yummy taiwanese snacks. Be sure to try their salty peppery chicken nuggets (鹽穌雞). Slow service, but not bad service. Good place to sit and talk with friends and they won’t kick you out. :)
Happy Eating! -J
